A Portuguese team of referees was appointed for the match between Albanians and Ukrainians.
On Tuesday, November 19, the Ukrainian national team will play the final match of the Nations League Division B group stage against Albania.
According to UEFA’s official website, a Portuguese team of referees led by 36-year-old Joao Pinheiro was appointed for this match.
In the lines he will be assisted by Bruno Jesus and Luciano Maia. The duties of the fourth referee will be performed by João Gonçalves.
Pinheira has already crossed paths with the Ukrainian national team once, working on their match in the Nations League as well. In the previous tournament in September 2022, under the refereeing of this Portuguese referee, Ukrainians in group B1 beat Armenia 5:0 away.
The match in the sixth round of the League of Nations group stage Albania – Ukraine will take place on November 19 in Tirana at the Air Albania Arena. The starting whistle for the match will sound at 21:45 Kyiv time.
