Dibango: I feel much better, but I’m not one hundred percent ready yet. I hope that after a break in the championship I will take the field

The defender has recovered from an injury that forced him to miss more than two months.

Defender Krivbassa Ivan Dibango spoke about his return to action after injury and the team’s goals for the coming rounds Ukrainian Premier League.

“I can say that I feel much better. However, it is difficult to recover quickly after two months without active training. But I’m on the right track and moving towards my goal. I would like to thank our medical headquarters for this opportunity.”

“I know all the guys were at home, spending time with their families or friends. It definitely recharges your brain, which is necessary at this stage with the last four games of the first part of the season ahead. We will try to win all these tours that are left so that we can go into holidays as high as possible in the table.”

“Before the match, the coach told me that I wouldn’t play, so it didn’t come as a surprise to me. I hope that after a break in the championship I will take the field. I’m a football player, so I always want to play, to play better, but right now I’m probably not one hundred percent ready yet. I need time not only for physical recovery, but also for psychological.”

Let us remind you that the 22-year-old Cameroonian was injured on September 15 in the match of the 6th round of the UPL against Left Bank (1:0). The examination showed damage to the ligaments of the acromioclavicular junction. The defender soon successfully underwent surgery. In mid-October, he began individual training, and on November 9, for the first time after the injury, he was included in Krivbass’ squad for the away match against Kolos (1:1), but did not take the field.

Based on the results of the first half of last season, Dibango was recognized as the best player in Yuri Vernidub’s team. This season, the Cameroonian played 8 matches for the club, scoring one assist.

Krivbass is in 5th place in the UPL with 19 points. In the next round, on November 24, Yuri Vernidub’s team will play away against Obolon.
