Schedules for Rebrov’s team
Draw with the Georgian national team left the Ukrainian team with five points after five rounds of the Nations League group stage played. As we have already said, losing points in one of the two final rounds of the first round of the tournament will not allow the blue-yellows to finish in first place in the group. And before the final match – an away match with Albania – Rebrov’s team has a chance to both compete for promotion to Division A and end up in the playoffs for the right to remain in Division B and even be relegated to Division C. We talk about layouts and potential opponents of the blue-yellows in the play-offs.

Layouts for Ukraine
Before the final round, the situation in the blue-yellow group is as follows: Czech Republic – 8 points, Albania and Georgia – 7 each, Ukraine – 5. Let us remind you that according to the tournament regulations, the teams that finish second in their groups of Division B will play for the right to move up the league. in two-legged confrontations with teams that will take third place in the groups of Division A. The winners of the confrontations will play in League A in the 2026/27 season, the losers will play in League B.
For second place in the group, Ukraine needs to beat Albania and hope that the Czech Republic does not lose to Georgia.
For the third position, the blue-yellows need to defeat Albania, then even a defeat to the Czech Republic, to which we are inferior in personal meetings, will bring Georgia to first place, and the Czechs to second.
Losing points in the match with Albania will mean relegation to Division C.
Possible elite rivals for Ukraine
At the moment, out of 12 teams in the elite division, only one team is known that will play 100% in the play-offs. This is the Hungarian national team, which competed in a quartet with Germany, the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are seven applicants for the remaining three vouchers.
