In the final round of Group 3 in the Nations League, the Netherlands will play Bosnia and Herzegovina
Defender Virgil van Dyck and midfielder Frankie de Jong left the location Dutch national team before the match with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last round of Group 3 Division A Nations League 2024/25.
“It is best for both Frankie and Virgil to leave the training camp at this time. This decision was made for medical reasons and, of course, the interests of the players came first,” said Oranje head coach Ronald Koeman.
De Jong missed the start of the season due to injury and did not feature in the Netherlands’ games in September and October. Frankie and Virgil took part in Oranje’s previous match against Hungary (4:0).
The Dutch team scored 8 points and guaranteed themselves access to the playoffs of the Nations League. The final match of Group 3 in Bosnia and Herzegovina will take place on November 19.
