The Albanian mentor shared his expectations from the confrontation with the Ukrainians in the League of Nations.
Albania’s national team head coach Silvinho commented on the last match of the Nations League group stage against Ukraine.
The coach of the Albanian team noted that they expected to win the home match.
“Each of the teams in our quartet competed at Euro 2024 and have good players and coaches, of course, we expect to win, because we will be playing with the support of our home stands.
But we also respect Ukraine. This is a tough opponent. We need to play one of the best matches because we still have a chance to even win the group.
Almost anything can happen before the final matches. If we talk about the previous match between Georgia and Ukraine, I saw it. It’s a tough match with a 50 to 50 chance,” UAF’s official website quoted Sylvinho as saying.
We remind you that the match between Albania and Ukraine will take place on Tuesday, November 19, in Tirana at the Air Albania Arena. The starting whistle for the match will sound at 21:45 Kyiv time.
