Atalanta set a price tag for the 25-year-old Brazilian at 60 million euros
Manchester City shows interest in midfielder Atalanta Ederson.
Pep Guardiola sees Ederson as a strengthening midfield – he is captivated by the 25-year-old Brazilian’s vision of the field, as well as his similar style of play to Rodri. In the fight for Ederson, Manchester City will have to withstand competition from PSG and Juventus, who also consider him as a strengthening of their squad.
Atalanta values Ederson at €60 million. At the same time, it does not intend to lose the player in the middle of the current season, and is ready to consider a possible transfer only in the next summer transfer window.
Ederson joined Atalanta in the summer of 2022, joining from Salernitana for €21.4 million.
This season, the midfielder played 16 matches in all tournaments, recording one goal and one assist each.
Atalanta is in the leading group of Serie A – its gap from first-place Napoli is only one point. In the Champions League, the club from Bergamo is in ninth place in the overall standings, with eight points after four rounds.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s team will play their next match on November 23 away against Parma.
