Ukrainian midfielder Genoa Ruslan Malinovsky said goodbye to Alberto Gilardino, who was fired from the position of head coach of the team.

Previously, the Italian specialist was dismissed, and the French Patrick Vieira was appointed in his place.

On Instagram, the Ukrainian spoke to his former mentor.

“Thank you, coach, for what you have done for us for being humane and kind, even in difficult times.

It’s an honor to meet you. I learned a lot from you. You create a family atmosphere, we thank everyone. We didn’t say goodbye. Good luck to you,” Malinovsky wrote.

It was previously reported that Genoa could become part of a famous sports empire.
