Juventus intend to bring Bayer’s striker back to Italy

The Bianconeri could have signed the forward in 2017, but he failed his medical.

Juventus Turin are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Bianconeri intend to move the 28-year-old Czech forward during the winter transfer window.

At Juventus, the Czech is considered an option to strengthen the attacking line, as Dusan Vlahovic recently returned from the national team with an injury, and Arkadiusz Milik has been in hospital since June and, at best, is recover between December and January.

Schick previously played in Italy for Sampdoria, and in the summer of 2017 he could have moved to Juventus, but failed a medical examination, after which he ended up in Rome.

This season, the Czech forward has played 14 matches for Bayer in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

It was previously reported that Trubin’s teammate could move to Juventus.
