During the entire first round, the ex-player of Kolos and Polesie played only three times for the team from Rivne
Veres officially completed cooperation with the flanker Evgeniy Morozko. The contract was terminated by mutual consent of the parties.
An experienced player, who played as a winger for most of his career, but has recently played more often as a full-back, has been playing for the club from Rivne since February of this year. Evgeniy spent the second round of the previous championship on loan from Polesie, and in the summer he moved to Veres on a full-time basis.
The 31-year-old footballer missed a significant part of this fall due to injury, making only three appearances in the 2024/25 season. In total, he played 16 matches for Veres, scoring one goal and two assists.
Morozko is primarily known for his performances for Kolos (2015 – 2021), from where he moved to Polesie. At the beginning of his career, Evgeniy played for the second teams of Kyiv Arsenal and Sevastopol, as well as Dinaz.
Veres has not lost in the UPL since mid-September. The victory in the 13th round over Rukh (2:0) allowed the Rivne team to rise to the top half of the tournament table. Team coach Oleg Shandruk was recognized as the best coach of the corresponding UPL tour according to the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches.
After an international break for matches of national teams, on November 24, Veres will play against one of the leaders of the UPL – Alexandria.
