The Nerazzurri destroyed their opponents in the first half, scoring five unanswered goals.

On Saturday, November 23, Inter Milan opened the 13th round of the Italian Serie A with an away game against Verona.

Simone Inzaghi’s team left no chance for their opponents, taking a more than convincing five-goal advantage before the break.

The Nerazzurri took the lead in the 17th minute of the match when Joaquin Correa scored from Marcus Thuram’s pass, and the French forward soon followed suit, netting a double within three minutes. In the 31st minute of the meeting, Stefan de Vrij scored the visitors’ fourth goal, and at the end of the half, Jan-Aurel Bissek finished off the home team.

Inter scored 28 points and climbed to first place in the Serie A standings while Verona was in 14th position with 12 points.
