— Dynamo played according to a formation with three central defenders. How did you play in this match?
— This is not a new formation for us, because we played with three central defenders in Rome, against Roma. All the same, there is something to work on and something to improve. I’ll speak for myself – I’m very comfortable playing in the center of defense with Popov and Mikhavko.
— Dynamo acted quite confidently in defense. Do you agree with this opinion?
– Yes. The only thing is that we conceded a goal at the very end of the meeting, and I believe that this was purely a misunderstanding. We didn’t have enough concentration there. But, in general, we didn’t have any special problems.
— It’s clear that all defenders love it when their team plays to zero…
“That’s true, but we will work to avoid conceding similar goals in the future.”
— Why is there such a contrast in Dynamo’s performance in the Ukrainian Championship and the Europa League?
— We have a lot of young football players in our team, for them it’s not like the first games in Europe – the first minutes in European cups. We understand that the level of competition in the UPL and in the Europa League is different. It’s not easy for our youth to immediately adapt and play at the highest level. Everything comes with experience. We need time.
— Will Dynamo be able to score their first points on Thursday, in the home game with Czech Victoria?
– I can do it. God willing, everything will be fine with us
