Empoli will extend Nicolas Haas’s contract, which expires in June 2025, in the next few days, despite a serious injury suffered this week that will keep him out for the entire season. The Italian midfielder, as follows from the official medical report, suffered a partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. The club will soon decide, together with the player and agents, on the length of the extension, but what is certain is that the extension will take place. A good gesture on the part of the Tuscan club, which thereby pleases and, from a certain point of view, consoles its player after the serious problem he has faced.
Below is Empoli’s official press release regarding Haas’ injury.: “Empoli Football Club reports on its official channels that the instrumental examinations performed by player Nicholas Haas, who was injured during the last training session, revealed a partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee. The player will undergo further specialist assessment in the next few days to determine the next path forward.”
