Alexandria played a draw away against Veres (1:1) in the 14th round of the UPL
Head coach Alexandria Ruslan Rotan commented on the away draw against Veresa (1:1) in the 14th round UPL.
“Of course, we are not satisfied with this result. You need to get ready for the game ahead of time. The team talked about this for a week. We knew that we would be up against a fighting team that plays a lot vertically and looks for rebounds. Unfortunately, we didn’t reach the guys. We had to talk about it again during the break. The second half was already in our favor. We could have snatched victory.”
“Apparently, we are also somewhat dependent on national team matches. Our players are involved in the junior, youth and national teams. This is also a problem for us, because we don’t have twenty-five players of equal value.”
“How did the air raid raid affect the tone of the game? Neither team likes this. When you’re in the mood, you arrive at the game and the air raid alarm immediately sounds – it’s a test. We cannot complain about this, these are the realities. We can only thank the Ukrainian Defense Forces for the opportunity to play in general.”
In 13 matches of the current UPL, Alexandria has 10 wins and 3 draws – it is second in the standings, and the sole leader of the championship is Dynamo.
Ruslan Rotan’s team will play their next match on December 1 at home against Chernomorets.
