Zarya remained in the minority in the 72nd minute – defender Roman Vantukh received a second yellow card.
Polissya took advantage of the numerical advantage six minutes before the end of regulation time – centerback Eduard Sarapiy scored his debut goal for the Zhytomyr club.
Note that in the second half, Congolese winger Beni Makuana, who had not taken the field in the UPL since August 31, appeared as a substitute for Polesie.
