The 20-year-old Vorskla defender may change his club registration
Defender Vorskla Ilya Krupsky commented on the interest in himself from other clubs, and also spoke about his goals in his future professional career.
“Is there interest in me from MLS clubs? That’s right, there is interest. However, as of now, I cannot name the teams that are following me.”
“Pressure is part of a footballer’s life. My goal is to play for the national team, I want to play in the Champions League and play in Europe, there is constant pressure there, and not only in a good way. We must be prepared for this. I won’t say that I’m completely ready, but I will say that the current situation doesn’t affect me too much, my game and my attitude towards my native club Vorskla.”
“I’m preparing as usual for the next games in the UPL, we have further important matches: against Ingulets, Shakhtar and Left Bank, and after them I can, together with my managers, think about further steps in my career.”
It was previously reported that there is interest in the 20-year-old Krupsky from MLS clubs, in particular from the New England Revolution. There was also information about Shakhtar’s interest in the defender.
Krupsky made his debut for Vorskla back in the 2020/21 season. This season, the defender played 12 matches in the UPL, being the undisputed main player in the Poltava team.
Ilya Krupsky also has four matches as part of the Ukrainian U-21 national team in the qualification for Euro 2025. The defender represented our country’s Olympic team at the 2024 Games in Paris, playing in all three matches in the tournament in the first team.
Vorskla is on the 11th line of the UPL standings. Yuri Maximov’s team will play their next match on November 29 against Ingulets.
