Manchester City And “Bavaria” started negotiations on the transfer of the midfielder from Bayer Floriana Wirtz reports Bild.
Bayer intends to sign a long-term contract with Wirtz in order to increase the transfer price. The midfielder’s current contract expires in the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates Wirtz’s transfer value at €130 million.
Sky previously reported that Bayern were not prepared to pay more than €100 million for Wirtz, but could include his players in the deal or offer bonuses.
Wirtz has scored four goals and provided three assists in 11 matches this season.
