Ukrainian goalkeeper Benfica Anatoly Trubin will be in the starting lineup for the match with Monaco in the fifth round Champions League 2024/25. Another Ukrainian Andrey Lunin – in stock Real Madrid to duel with Liverpool.
Trubin will play his 16th match for the Portuguese club in all tournaments this season. The Ukrainian conceded 12 goals in previous meetings and kept six clean sheets.
Lunin has played five matches this season, in which he conceded eight goals. The Ukrainian again found himself on the bench after Belgian Thibaut Courtois returned to action.
Real and Benfica have six points each and occupy 21-22nd places in the overall Champions League table. Both matches of the Ukrainian goalkeeper teams will begin at 22:00.
