We say: if they scored, the attackers played well; conceded – the defense played poorly. But that doesn’t happen. Everyone does their own thing, that’s understandable, but the whole team attacks and defends.
Why does the defensive game play out this way? That’s a question for the coach. But from the outside we can say that there is no balance in defense. The attackers, even if they move away, do not engage in combat, they rarely take the ball away, there is no pressure, there is no defensive play. This allows opposing players to feel comfortable near the penalty area.
Also, in the last match we saw that many players are foreigners. Who circle the earth two or three times to return after the national team matches. Of course, they will be in a slightly different physical and psychological state. This also leaves a mark and says that you not only need to buy foreigners, but also take a closer look at your players. We see that Zenit has quality players, the same Brazilians, but they do not play in the national team, and they train and prepare.
