Bologna opened the scoring early in the game, but the goal was overturned after a video replay was reviewed. At the end of the first half the visitors scored – Ngalayel Mukau scored.
After the break, Bologna equalized through the efforts of John Lucumi, but a few minutes later Mukau scored a double and brought the Dogs victory in this match.
Lille scored 10 points in this Champions League draw and is now in 12th place in the overall standings. Bologna is in 33rd position, the team has only one point.
In the next round of the Champions League, Bologna will play away against Benfica, and Lille will host Sturm at their stadium.
