Van Nistelrooy has agreed to be appointed Leicester coach

The coach’s entourage is engaged in paperwork

Former interim manager of Manchester United Ruud van Nistelrooy agreed to be appointed head coach Leicester.

The coach’s entourage deals with paperwork. The transaction is ready to be completed in the near future.

The Dutchman worked as an assistant to the head coach of Manchester United, and after the dismissal of Erik ten Hag, he acted as a coach. Van Nistelrooy has stated that he wants to stay in Manchester. However, the new head coach Ruben Amorim decided to radically update the coaching staff, firing Ruud, among others. It has been reported that Van Nistelrooy is among the shortlisted candidates to take charge of Coventry and Hamburg.

Leicester announced the resignation of Steve Cooper on Sunday. The Foxes are on a streak of five matches without a win in all tournaments. Cooper’s last match in the team was a defeat to Chelsea (1:2).

Leicester are in 16th place in the Premier League with 10 points. The Foxes will play their next match on November 30 away against Brentford Yegor Yarmolyuk.
