Head coach “Dynamo” Vladivostok’s Mikhail Salnikov, after winning the Second League, Division B, told how the team’s players regularly endure long flights.
At the end of the season, the Vladivostok team received the right to compete in the “Silver” group of the “A” division.
— Comfortable planes, management does not skimp on food, location, hotels. There is probably a slight discomfort, but you get used to it quickly. Fatigue only accumulates at the end of each round – a break is necessary. This is why in the middle of the championship, they gave the players a week to disconnect. But 8 hours by plane is complex. In Chelyabinsk, we traveled for 20-25 hours by bus in each direction – to Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk and other cities,” Salnikov told Betonmobile.
Salnikov is 49 years old and will take over as manager of Dynamo Vladivostok in the summer of 2023. Previously, he worked as a coach at Shakhtar Korkino, Chelyabinsk, Veles, Atom and Novosibirsk.
