Ghanaian striker plans to return to the field in 3 months
LNZ reported that a defender has been added to the list of injured players Nazariy Muravsky and goalkeeper Kiril Samoilenko. The latter is out until the end of 2024 due to a shoulder injury.
Both players will not be able to help their team in the next UPL round (against Veres in a home match), as well as a disqualified defensive player Haydin Salihu.
There was also news about the striker’s condition Mark Assinorawho is recovering from a serious injury (torn meniscus and tear of the medial ligament of the knee joint). According to the football player himself, his rehabilitation after the operation is going well, and he is approximately at the equator of recovery. In about three months, the 24-year-old Ghanaian hopes to be back on the field.
Assinor, we remind you, became a LNZ player this summer, moving from the Slovakian club Podberezova. The Ghanaian appeared in the starting lineup in all three of LNZ’s opening matches in the championship, scoring one goal.
23-year-old Samoilenko has not played a single minute this season. Muravsky, who is a year older, is the main defender and captain, whose loss could be especially critical due to the limit on foreign players.
LNZ takes 7th place in the UPL after 14 rounds. Andres Carrasco’s team will play the match against Veres on Saturday, November 30. Starts at 13:00.
