Dynamo lost to Czech Victoria (1:2), suffering their fifth defeat in this 2024/25 Europa League
Head coach Dynamo Alexander Shovkovsky commented on his team’s defeat from Victoria (1:2) in the fifth round match Europa League 2024/25.
“Based on our tactical plan for the game, we should not give the opponent the opportunity to play through long passes or throw the ball behind our defenders. Basically, he worked until the first goal we missed, when we let the opponent play just like that. This is individual skill. Later on we re-formed to create pressure and try to save the game.”
The Kiev team is the worst team in the Europa League – in the overall standings they occupy the last 36th place, having no points. Dynamo’s closest neighbors in the basement of the table have two points each – RFS and Ludogorets.
In today’s match, Dynamo scored its first goal in this Europa League, scored by Vladislav Kabaev.
Dynamo has three matches left to play in the general stage of the LE: on December 12, away against the Spanish Real Sociedad, on January 21, in Turkey against Galatasaray, and on the 30th of the same month, in Hamburg against the Latvian Russian Federation.
