Roma with Dovbik saved themselves from losing to Tottenham in the Europa League

In stoppage time, Hummels scored a draw for the Romans.

On Thursday, November 28, Tottenham hosted Roma in the fifth round of the main stage of the Europa League.

After losing to Napoli in the first match since Claudio Ranieri’s return, the Romans performed better in the European Cup match, ending the encounter with their London rivals in a 2:2 draw.

Tottenham took the lead in the fifth minute after Son Heung-min converted a penalty. Roma managed to hit back midway through the half through an Evan Ndika effort, but Spurs went into the break with a slight advantage – Brennan Johnson netting in the 34th minute.

The Giallorossi managed to escape defeat only in stoppage time for the match. In the 90+1 minute, Angelino crossed from the left and Mats Hummels finished at the far post from close range.

Roma’s Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik entered this game in the starting lineup and played the entire match on the field. In the 55th minute, the Ukrainian scored, but after VAR consultation the goal was canceled due to offside.
