The Ukrainian has problems with his ankle
Ukrainian midfielder from Girona Victor Tsygankov may not play against Villarreal in the upcoming match of the 15th round of La Liga.
According to team coach Michel, the midfielder is experiencing problems with his ankle. The decision on the participation of the Ukrainian in the match will be made directly on the day of the game.
Since the beginning of October, Tsygankov has been in the hospital due to damage to the tendon of the biceps femoris muscle of his left leg. Only recently did Victor return to action, playing against Espanyol (4:1) and Sturm (0:1).
This season, Tsygankov has played eight matches for Girona in all competitions. The Ukrainian has one goal and one assist.
Girona is currently in eighth place in the league table. Michel’s team has 21 points from 14 rounds.
