Ukrainian defender Arsenal Alexander Zinchenko remained in his team’s reserves for the away match of the 13th round nuclear submarine against Newcastle.
The 27-year-old footballer has appeared on the field only four times in the current championship, playing a total of 131 minutes. Alexander hasn’t been a starter since the 1st round (2:0 against Wolverhampton). The Ukrainian came on as a substitute twice more (18 minutes in total) in the Champions League. He played one incomplete match in the League Cup. In many ways, the reason for such modest statistics was a tibia injury, which knocked Zinchenko out of action for almost two months.
Arsenal, after 12 rounds, has 22 points and is in fifth place, nine points behind the leader, Liverpool. West Ham are 14th.
The starting whistle for the match at the London Stadium will sound at 19:30 Kyiv time.
