Yakimiv scored his team’s first goal in 10 matches and three months
Left Bank saved himself from defeat in the home match of the 15th round Ukrainian Premier League against fellow countrymen from Obolon – 1:1.
The match took place with a slight advantage of Sergei Shishchenko’s team, which managed to score seconds before the break – defender Valery Dubko scored the premiere goal in the UPL.
Left Bank, which has been really bad with goals lately (in addition, one of the main creatives Oleg Sinitsa was out for six weeks), became slightly more active in the second half, but for a long time did not create anything significant against Nazariy Fedorivsky.
As before the break, the denouement came in the last moments. Yakimiv scored the saving goal for the hosts.
Vitaly Pervak’s team managed to score for the first time since September 1, but since then – for ten matches in a row – they have remained without a win. Obolon missed not only the victory, but also the opportunity to beat their fellow countrymen and get out of the direct relegation zone. Both teams have 10 points left.
In the 16th round, LB will host LNZ, and the Brewers will go to visit Kolos.
