Left Bank saved itself from the defeat of Obolon in the last seconds

The Brewers were unable to maintain their slight advantage in the Kiev clash between the UPL outsiders.

On Saturday, November 30, Left Bank hosted Obolon in the last match of the game day of the 15th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

The Brewers led throughout the second half with a slight lead, but did not hold on to it in the final seconds of the meeting, which ended the match in a 1:1 draw.

Obolon could have taken the lead in the 21st minute, but the goal was canceled due to a handball. However, the Brewers scored before the break. After being thrown into the penalty area, Maxim Mekhaniv played uncertainly on the way out, and Valery Dubko beat him and headed the ball into the goal.

Left Bank secured a draw in injury time of the match with the last shot on goal. After attacking the visitors’ goal, Andrey Yakymiv successfully got the rebound and sent the ball into the net.

After this draw, Left Bank and Obolon have ten points each and occupy 14th and 15th place in the UPL standings, respectively.
