President of the RFU Alexander Dukov told that the dismissal of the referee Vladislav Bezborodov related to his public comments and not to the possibility of his appointment to a position within the arbitration department.
In November, the disciplinary commission of the RFU refereeing committee suspended Bezborodov from work at MIR RPL matches and other competitions under the auspices of the RFU until the end of the 2024/25 season. The arbitrator was dismissed for violating moral and ethical standards or rules of business conduct, as well as knowingly providing false information or concealing it. Previously, the Telegram channel “Hello, ref! published screenshots of comments allegedly belonging to Bezborodov, where the decisions of other judges were discussed, and Vladislav called himself the one who “is the only one who knows how to judge.” Later, information appeared on social networks that the reason for Bezborodov’s dismissal could be his possible appointment to the arbitration department, headed by Milorad Majic .
— I urge you to trust official information and not Telegram channels. He seriously violated the disciplinary code and was suspended for this. The version that Bezborodov could have been written off because he applied instead of Mazych is not true, Dyukov told the correspondent.
