Ukrainians Alexander Shumbarets And Dmitry Mazurchuk finished in the top 40 in the first stage for the second day in a row Nordic Combined World Cup 2024/25which takes place in Ruka (Finland).
This time both Ukrainians were able to get into the scoring zone in the mass start. Alexander showed the 35th result, Dmitry was located right behind him – 36th place. The winner was the German Vinzenz Geiger, the Norwegian Jarl Magnus Riiber and another German representative Manuel Feisst were also on the podium.
Let us remind you that yesterday at the same stage Mazurchuk became 37th, and Shumbarets – 40th in the classic Gundersen. For the first time in the history of Ukraine, two athletes found themselves in the double-event scoring zone at the World Cup level.
The first stage of the 2024/25 Nordic Combined World Cup started on November 30. The second stage of the World Cup will take place on December 7-8 in Lillehammer, Norway.
