The Romans’ unbeaten streak in all tournaments lasted 8 matches
Lazio suffered an away defeat to Parma in the 14th round of the Italian Serie A – 1:3.
The hosts took the lead in the opening – the ball was scored by Dennis Man, the offender of the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2024. Parma doubled their lead shortly after the break through Anas Hadj Mohamed.
All that was enough for the favorite, who could be promoted to second place by victory, was a prestige goal performed by Tati Castellanos. However, Fabio Pecchia’s team still had the last word – the final score was set by Enrico Del Prato. Gabriel Charpente scored the second assist.
Lazio ended their five-match winning streak in the championship (as well as eight matches without defeat in all tournaments) and remained fifth in the standings. Parma moved up to 11th place.
In the next round, the Romans will visit Napoli, and the Parmesans will visit Inter.
