In the 15th round match against Kolos, Dynamo made its third misfire in the Ukrainian championship
Head coach Dynamo Alexander Shovkovsky commented on his team’s away draw against Kolosa (1:1) in the 15th round match UPL.
“We understood perfectly well that the opponent had been preparing for the fight for a week, but we only had two days to prepare. There are such matches when you are preparing, but the ball does not go into the goal, but it ricochets in our possession – and a completely unnecessary goal is conceded.”
“In the second half we increased our speed and had opportunities to score. At the end of the meeting, there were generally three points that we must implement. But we lost two very important points; in general, it’s always difficult to play in Kovalivka. We will prepare for the next fights.”
For Dynamo, this misfire is only the third in the Ukrainian championship. Previously, the Kiev team lost points against Rukh (0:0) and Shakhtar (1:1). At the top of the UPL standings there is now dual power again – Dynamo and Alexandria have 36 points each.
Dynamo will play its next match on Wednesday, December 4, against its direct competitor, Alexandria. This match is rescheduled from the 1st round. Then, on December 7, the teams will meet again as part of the 16th round of the UPL.
