The miners simultaneously lost points after Dynamo
Miner missed the victory over Rukh in the 15th round match Ukrainian Premier League – 1:1.
The miners took the lead midway through the first half. Pedrinho sent the ball from the right corner of the field, and Matvienko headed the ball into the net from the near corner.
In the second half of the meeting, the Miners, saving their strength, gave the initiative to the guests. Rukh, despite the territorial advantage, did not create a large number of chances at the champion’s goal, but Marino Pusic’s team never punished the opponent on counterattacks.
And yet, Rukh equalized in stoppage time. The guests also responded with a goal from a defender, namely Roman Didyk, from a pass from Alexei Sych.
Shakhtar scored 3 points, missing a magnificent opportunity to reduce the gap to Dynamo by four points, which also performed unsuccessfully today – it failed to beat Kolos (1:1). Rukh rose to eighth place, beating LNZ.
In the next round, the Miners will fight with Vorskla on December 5, and the Lviv team will host Polesie the day before.
