The club supports the Ukrainian
Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrik won’t leave Chelsea during the winter transfer window.
The London club does not plan to sell or lease the Ukrainian. Chelsea management is counting on Mikhail and will continue to support him.
It was previously reported that Barcelona, Newcastle and Crystal Palace were interested in renting the 23-year-old player. In September there was also information about a potential change of club to increase playing experience, and the Blues were allegedly ready to release the player already during the winter transfer window. Among the contenders for the player was Marseille.
This season, Mikhail Mudrik has had consistent playing experience in English League Cup and Conference League matches. Moreover, within the framework of the European Cup tournament, the Ukrainian can boast of very good statistics – in six Conference League matches he scored three goals and made three assists.
In the Premier League, Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca gives preference to other players, and Mudryk himself played in only seven matches in the English Championship (one as a starter), without being particularly productive.
Chelsea will play their next match on December 4 away against Southampton.
