Algerian midfielder Manchester City could change the club and the championship this summer.
AC Milan are planning to sign Manchester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez this summer. This was reported by the publication La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to journalists, after learning about the likely purchase of the club by a wealthy Bahraini company, the Rossoneri leadership began exploring options for strengthening their weak position.
One of these players, according to the Italians, could be exactly the midfielder of the Algerian national team and of English Manchester City. The 31-year-old Algerian’s contract with the Citizens will expire at the end of the 2022/23 season, and the Rossoneri therefore intend to get the player at a relatively low price-40 million euros.
An additional plus in the matter of transfer could be Ismael Bennacer. Algeritz is already playing for Milan and could try to convince Mahrez to move to Italy.
