Atlético-MG may no longer count on Savarino for the season’s sequel and the Venezuelan is close to returning to the MLS; check out!
THE Atlético-MG is close to negotiating Savarino with the MLS. The player, who was signed in 2020 for a fee of two million dollars, could be returning to the real salt lake for the trifle of three million dollars. Conversations between the two teams exist and the possibility of the player leaving Galo in the next few days is increasingly real.
According to information from the website “Fala Galo” and “Globo Esporte”, negotiations between Atlético-MG and Real Salt Lake are advanced. The Belo Horizonte team is not closed to the possibility of selling the striker and is willing to negotiate. According to the two publications, the value would be around 15 million reais and the MLS team would acquire 30% of the Venezuelan’s economic rights.

Therefore, thinking about a future sale, Atlético-MG would keep 20% on the player and could profit from the athlete’s next transfer. It is not yet possible to say that the deal is closed, but the parties seem to be willing to make the transfer successful.
Remembering that, before playing for Atlético-MG, Savarino played for three seasons at Real Salt Lake and became one of the main attractions of the MLS team. Rafael Dudamel, at the time, asked for the Venezuelan to be hired and it didn’t take him long to establish himself. With Jorge Sampaoli, he lived his peak at Galo, lost space with Cuca and has been standing out in recent games under the command of Turco Mohamed.
Savarino has played 99 games for Atlético-MG and is heading into his third season. In addition, the striker has scored 21 goals and also provided 19 assists. That is, adding up the goals and passes for his teammates to score, he has 40 direct participations for Galo’s goals in recent years.
