Sidorov, Galata and the most expensive player of the First League: the entire team of the 1st round of the First League

Sport Arena names the symbolic team of the opening round of the First League of the season 2022/23

Game program of the 1st round (report with video here)

Group A Group B
Saturday, August 27
Bukovyna – Epicenter – 1:2 FC Chernihiv – Skoruk – 1:1
Karpaty (Lviv) – FSK Mariupol – 3:0 LNZ – Obolon – 0:0
Prykarpattya – Polissya – 0:3 Metallurg – Flint – 3:3
Dinaz ‒ Niva (Ternopil) – 1:1 SK Poltava – Gornyak-Sport – did not take place

About the best personalities and the main figures of the tour – here.

Goalkeeper – Vadim Soldatenko (Dinaz)

He conceded only from the penalty spot (and even then – at that moment he guessed where the opponent would send the ball). He repeatedly acted great at his goal, reacted to several insidious blows from opponents from different distances. He really helped out already in the opening, when he reacted to a close-range shot from Bey from Ternopil, and then gave a beautiful save in the second half, pulling a good header from Zin. A strong-willed draw with the fifth team of last season is a good result for the overworked Vyshgorod team.

  • Best in Group “B”: Nazariy Fedorivsky (Obolon)

Right back – Dmitry Fateev (Obolon)

In general, the left flank of the LNZ is not a gift, but there is also reinforcement, after which Sinegub and Migunov appeared there in addition to the scoring Voitsekhovsky. Nevertheless, Fateev did not let his opponents run wild, often managing to prevent danger even without passing the ball into the penalty area. And in front he could score with a goal of the tour (which is logical after a productive off-season), when he hit the goal post from a distance. The match to zero in Cherkassy is the merit of the entire Obolon team, and Dmitry in particular.

  • Best in Group “A”: Evgeny Morozko (Polesie)

Central defender – Anatoly Romanchenko (FC Chernihiv)

Skoruk is a difficult opponent with an experienced striker and attacking midfielders. In such circumstances, the fact that they did not carry a direct threat to the gates of the hosts is already an achievement of protection. We believe that Romanchenko is not primarily to blame for the missed goal, because it was not his player who scored, and there was a misunderstanding between the goalkeeper and the right back. Anatoly acted well on the attack: even in the first half he shot with his head after a corner, and after the break he shot into the frame from a distance.

  • Best in Group “A”: Dmitry Makhnev (Carpathians)

Central defender – Igor Duts (Karpaty)

The Lviv team inflicted a devastating defeat on the Mariupol team, and not only the attacking players were swaggering in this victory. Just look at Duts’ spectacular assist, who continued the combination by touch and brought Lenya to the goalkeeper (this is the third goal). Let’s note that Karpaty didn’t manage without blunders in defense, but we’ll put it down to an early convincing advantage in the score. For real, of course, we will judge the leader’s defense in matches with other opponents.

  • Best in Group “B”: Vladislav Klimenko (Skoruk)

Left back – Denys Soroka (Skoruk)

An absolutely insane matchup for a young debutant from a debutant League One team. At first, Soroka acted indicatively well, participated in many sharp combinations and opened the scoring on cunning and instinct, throwing the ball over the goalkeeper after a long serve by Klimenko. However, by the end of the game, it was Denis who failed to cut the ball into his own goal. We believe that he tried to save there, the own goal is not stupid, but largely accidental. You should support the young player.

  • Best in Group “A”: Vladislav Shapoval (Polesie)

Right midfielder – Artem Kozak (Polesie)

The ex-midfielder of the youth teams Dynamo and PAOK gave a big advantage in the class to the Zhytomyr team. In Ivano-Frankivsk, Kozak took part in two scoring combinations, first chalking up the so-called “pre-assist”, when he connected Shapoval on the left flank, whose pass was used by Budkovsky, and then he scored a goal himself, playing with Grytsuk and skillfully loosening. rivals.

  • Best in Group “B”: Anton Savin (LNZ)

Central midfielder – Andrei Bezhenar (Epicenter)

A student of Bukovinian football, Bejenar played at the central stadium of Chernivtsi. And he himself punched through the goal, being a direct participant in several sharp attacks, and tied the team’s game, spending 90 minutes on the field and playing with different formats of the attack group. It was Bezhenar who made a sighted pass to the far post, where Krystin opened the scoring. In our opinion, that goal in the 79th minute was the key event of the match, which brought the Epicenter debut victory in the First League.

  • Best in Group “B”: Daniil Falkovsky (Flint)

Left midfielder – Ambrosiy Chachua (Karpaty)

It seems that the captain’s armband inspired Chachua for a bright performance against FSK Mariupol. Back in the first half, the Lviv team made a significant bid for the victory, when first Ambrose’s corner was closed by forward Taranukh, and then Chachua himself shot the goal after I. Kogut’s flank pass.

  • Best in Group “B”: Egor Prokopenko (Obolon)

Forward – Denis Galata (Flint)

Even last season, Galata rightly got into the lists of the most promising players in the PFL competitions, and in Zaporozhye once again confirmed his goalscoring talent. It was he who equalized shortly after the first missed, when he ran away after a long pass and a discount on the move. Denis later saved Flint from defeat, setting the final score. There, he had to quickly navigate after a blocked long-range shot and hit the execution from a semicircle in the penalty area (see the Tour Goal nomination).

  • Best in Group “A”: Maxim Girny (Epicenter)

Forward – Philip Budkovsky (Polesie)

It is not easy for everyone in Ivano-Frankivsk, but it seems that Budkovsky is the player who gives the desired advantage in the class. He repeatedly went to the goal, scored himself and assisted Shastal (please note that the referee’s report indicates that Philip scored two goals – in our opinion, and in the report of the press service of Zhytomyr this is confirmed, at that moment he performed an assist, and Dmitry scored even within the field, and not along the goal line). A crushing victory over the old-timer of the division is a great start for Polissya.

  • Best in Group “B”: Vladimir Belotserkovets (Metallurg)

Forward – Alexey Sidorov (Metallurg)

Haters will hate, but Sidorov scored two penalties in the home match with Flint, scored from the field and was involved in all three Zaporozhye goals. Yes, I didn’t convert the second 11-meter one – however, there was a goal on the rebound, so the moment was not wasted. Over these few seasons, Metallurg has grown a pretty solid young forward, and such a start after the promotion shows that Alexey is progressing.

  • Best in Group “A”: Rostyslav Taranukha (Carpathians)

Tour coach – Yuriy Kalitvintsev (Polesie)

Polissya was among the main favorites of the season in terms of the combination of the strength of the sponsor, the classiness of the squad and the experience of the coaching staff last season. Now, in the shortlist with the Karpaty, LNZ and Obolon, Zhytomyr is waiting for a medal fight. A convincing victory in Ivano-Frankivsk, the first in the recent history of confrontations between Prykarpattya and Polissya, showed that Kalitvintsev’s men had learned a lot at the multi-stage foreign training camp, and the titled newcomers had already joined the game.

Joker of the tour – Vladislav Krystin (Epicenter)

Goals in Chernivtsi waited 79 minutes and waited just after a shower of substitutions in both teams. V. Krystin was the second replacement of the guests (the first – forced – took place already in the debut of the game after the injury of forward Buryak) and played the second half very actively and usefully. Vladislav was an active participant in several critical events and did a great job of closing the flank serve at the far post, opening the scoring. The duds worked 100%, because Girny became the co-author of the winning goal.

Sport Arena stats: 1 league match, 1 goal.

The best young player of the tour – Vladislav Klimenko (Dinaz)

Dinaz remained the most important mystery among all the participants – he did not announce his newcomers, the official application was delayed longer than others, he was updated quite significantly to leave surprises even six months after the appointment of a new head coach (especially Golovko’s official debut took place right now). Among these mysteries was the 18-year-old midfielder Klimenko, who went through the school of the Borshchagovskaya Chaika and played earlier at the student level. Even in the first half, the active debutant showed activity and readiness to aggravate, and after the break he took advantage of Niva’s weak play in his own half of the field, scoring the ball into the gates of Ternopil. This goal saved Dinaz from defeat.

Sport Arena stats: 1 league match, 1 goal.

Tour goal – Denis Galata (Flint → Metallurg)

Six goals, two penalties, removal – in Zaporozhye was something to see. Among these goals, we note the skillful strike of the young striker Galata. Quoting the report: “On courage, Kremen went forward, pressed the opponent, and when it seemed that the hosts fought back, Galata caught a rebound in the semicircle of the penalty area and hit the corner with his right foot“.
