Contract signed until 2026
Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk officially became a player Bruges. The contract is signed until 2026. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier it became known that Benfica will receive 16 million euros and 3 million euros in bonuses for the transfer of Yaremchuk to Bruges. Benfica will also receive 10% of the player’s future sale.
This is a record signing in the history of Bruges.
Recall that Benfica put Yaremchuk on the transfer. One of the options for continuing a career for a Ukrainian was called Sevilla.
The Ukrainian moved to Benfica in July last year from Belgian Ghent for 17 million euros. Last season, Yaremchuk scored nine goals and provided six assists in 43 games for Orlov.
This season, the 26-year-old Ukrainian striker has played five games for Benfica, providing one assist. At the same time, Roman started all meetings from the bench.
Brugge is third in the Jupilé League standings. In the group stage of the Champions League, the Belgians will play in quartet B with Porto, Atlético and Bayer.
