Ukrainians climbed to third place in group B
Women’s national football team of Ukraine confidently won on the road Faroe islands (3:0) in the qualifying match World Cup 2023.
In the first 15 minutes of the match, the team of Luis Cortez scored twice – Nadezhda Kunina scored scoring shots. At the end of the meeting Lyubov Shmatko brought the score to a devastating one.
This is the third victory of Ukraine in the group stage. The Blue-Yellows are third in Group B after seven games played. Recall that the Cortez team has already lost the chance of reaching the 2023 World Cup.
Ukraine will play the final qualifying match on September 6 in Madrid against Spain. The fight starts at 22:00 Kyiv time.
