Three points from Blancos brought goals from Vinicius and Rodrigo
Real won at the Santiago Bernabeu Betis (2:1) in the match of the fourth round Spanish Championship.
Already in the 9th minute of the meeting, Vinicius Junior put Real Madrid ahead. Betis bounced back in the middle of the first half after an accurate strike from ex-Blancos player Sergio Canales.
Rodrigo Goes’ goal in the 65th minute brought victory to Real Madrid. The Brazilian was assisted by Federico Valverde.
Ukrainian goalkeeper of Real Madrid Andrei Lunin spent the entire match on the bench.
Real Madrid is the only team that has not lost points in the current La Liga season. Blancos got four wins at the start of the championship and take first place in the standings. Betis are in second position with nine points.
Real Madrid will take on Celtic in the Champions League on September 6. Betis will face HJK in the Europa League on 8 September.
