The Kyiv Dynamo defender shared details of the recovery after the serious injury.
He received such a severe injury and spent so much time in the infirmary that he could end his professional career as a football player. This was stated in an interview with the press service of Dynamo Kyiv by the team’s footballer Nikita Burda.
According to the Ukrainian defender, at the moment he is getting a form that will allow him to return to a good level.
“Maybe, I’m not back to the level I had before the injury. God forbid, this will be done with time. Still, the injury is serious, I missed a lot. But now I have the opportunity to train with the team, with my boys, with talented players – it’s a huge benefit.
With such training, I add every day. Of course, the more I played for the first team, the faster the process. But if you consider the whole range of factors, I’m glad that now I can just play football and practice, because there’s a time when there’s a possibility that I can finish football, ”Burda said.
It will be recalled that Burda missed 586 days from 2019 to 2022 due to injuries. As part of the Kyiv club, he played 93 games, in which he scored seven goals and made two assists.
