The Kharkiv team won a bold victory in the third round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
As part of the third round of the Ukrainian championship, Oleksandriya hosted Metalist at home.
The teams gave a productive rivalry, in which the Kharkiv club became stronger.
The hosts opened the scoring first in the 11th minute thanks to Vladislav Kalitvintsev’s effort, but 10 minutes later Sergey Panasenko restored parity.
Even before the end of the first half, the Kharkiv team remained in the minority. Bogdan Porokh received a straight red card.
However, the fact that Metalist was left with ten men did not prevent them from winning the match. Maxim Pryadun and Oleksandr Mizyuk got three points for their team in 64 and 72 minutes respectively.
