Salatiel was the highlight of Botafogo-SP’s victory in the quadrangular access final of the Campeonato Brasileiro da Série C; striker scored a goal and provided an assist
Salathiel was one of the highlights of the Botafogo-SP regarding the aparecida, by 3 to 1, for the final access of the C Series of the Brazilian Championship. Away from home, the São Paulo team confirmed the result with a goal and an assist from the striker. After the confrontation, the player celebrated the triumph.
“It was very special to be able to score my first goal with the Botafogo shirt. The ball didn’t want to go in, but luckily it happened in an important game like this. It was a great victory, a very good match for everyone. We knew how to take advantage of the chances we had and managed to win this important victory away from home”, said through his adviser.
With the victory, Botafogo remains in second place in group A of the quadrangular final. The team from Ribeirão Preto has six points, one less than the leader Mirassol. In the next round, Botafogo will face Aparecidense again, at home, at Santa Cruz stadium. Salatiel highlighted the difficulties of the tournament and warned:
“This foursquare is a separate competition. It’s a short shot championship and no mistakes can be made. Now, we have to focus on the next match against the Aparecidense team. It won’t be an easy game, but we’re going to play at home, with the support of our fans and we have to take advantage of that. We need to work very hard throughout the week, so that we can arrive prepared and seek another victory.” concluded.
The fourth round of the quadrangular final of the C Series of the Brazilian Championship, against Aparecidense, will be played next Sunday, 11, at 11 am (Brasilia time). Botafogo-SP will still face Mirassol and Volta Redonda in the last matches of this phase of Group B of the national tournament.
