Leicester showed interest in Dynamo Kyiv defender Ilya Zabarny.
The English club, through intermediaries, was interested in the transfer cost of the Ukrainian. Note that the President of Dynamo Igor Surkis said that the club has not received a single official request for the transfer of Zabarny.
In August, it was reported that the Ukrainian entered the short list of a number of Premier League clubs. Scouts from West Ham, Everton and Brentford attended the second leg of the third round of Champions League qualification Sturm — Dynamo (1:2).
This season, the 20-year-old Zabarny has played eight matches in all tournaments for the Kyiv team without scoring goals.
Dynamo are in 15th place in the UPL standings. Leicester are 20th in the English Premier League after six rounds.
