Ajax and Sporting beat Rangers and Frankfurt, respectively, and debuted with victory in the Champions League; Dutch team thrashed in the match played at home
O ajax was overwhelming in the first half and thrashed the rangers 4-0 this Wednesday, 7th, at Amsterdam Arena, for the first round of Group A of the Champions League 2022/23. At home, the Dutch team opened 3-0 – in just 30 minutes – and closed the rout in the second half. alvarez, berghuis, kudus and Bergwijn scored the goals.
The home team opened the scoring in the 17th minute of the first half, with Álvarez’s header. Better during the confrontation, Ajax extended it in the 32nd minute, with a shot by Berghuis. Frankfurt x Sporting
For group D, the Sporting won the Frankfurt 3-0 at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium in Germany.
