Club sacks Thomas Tuchel after defeat in Zagreb
Chelsea considers former PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino and mentor Brighton Graham Potter as a potential replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
Recall that the Blues terminated the contract with the German specialist after losing to Dynamo Zagreb in the first round of the Champions League group stage. The current coaching staff will prepare the team for the upcoming matches.
Pochettino has experience in managing a Premier League team. He previously managed Southampton and Tottenham. In his last season with PSG, Pochettino led the Parisians to their tenth league title in France.
Potter has been in charge of Swansea and has been in charge of Brighton since 2019. The Seagulls are currently 4th in the Premier League this season, two points behind leaders Arsenal.
Chelsea are 6th in the Premier League with 10 points. The Blues will next play away to Fulham on 10 September.
