Dynamo away lost to Fenerbahce, conceding in stoppage time

The Kyiv team did not keep a draw

Dynamo lost in Istanbul Fenerbahce (1:2) in the first round of the group stage Europa League.

The Turkish giant took the lead in the 35th minute of the meeting – Gustavo Enrique closed the feed from the corner. Dynamo bounced back after the break thanks to the efforts of Viktor Tsygankov, who was assisted by Vitaly Buyalsky.

However, the Kyiv team failed to keep a draw. On 90+2 minutes, Misha Batshuayi brought victory to Fenerbahce.

Note that in the middle of the second half, Nikolai Shaparenko was injured and could not continue the fight.

In another match of group B, the Cypriot AEK lost to Rennes – 1:2.

In the second round of the Europa League on September 15, Dynamo will host AEK in Krakow, while Fenerbahce will play away against Rennes.
