Midfielder feels trusted by the coaching staff
Midfielder SC Dnepr-1 Valentin Rubchinsky was satisfied with the team’s performance in the match of the first round of the group round Conference leagues with AZ.
“There is a difference with the Ukrainian championship, AZ is in the top five teams in the Netherlands. We also looked good today, but a little unlucky.”
“They had more possession, but I think we had more chances. I don’t see anything wrong with losing.
A year ago I played in the Second League, and today I am playing in the first team in the Conference League. I felt responsible. The coach told me not to be afraid to play and act calmly. I felt that they believed in me.”
Dnepr-1 lost minimally to AZ in the first round of the Conference League. The only goal in the meeting was scored by Dani De Wit.
On September 15, in the match of the second round of the group stage of the Conference League, Dnipro-1 will play with the Cypriot Apollo, and AZ will host Vaduz from Liechtenstein.
