Leipzig sacked head coach Tedesco after Shakhtar defeat

The main contender for the position is the former coach of Borussia D Rose

Management RB Leipzig fired head coach Domenico Tedesco. Also, along with the mentor, his assistants Andreas Hinkel and Max Urvantsky resigned.

Earlier it was reported that the club was dissatisfied with the start of the 2022/23 season. In five rounds of the Bundesliga, Leipzig scored only 5 points, in the last round they lost to Eintracht (0:4). In the opening match of the Champions League group stage, the Bulls conceded four goals from Shakhtar at home.

The leadership of RB Leipzig is still looking for a replacement for Tedesco. The main contender for the main post of the team is called the former coach of Borussia D Marco Rose.

The Bulls will play their next match in the Bundesliga against Borussia Dortmund on 10 September. In the second round of the Champions League, RB Leipzig will play away with Real Madrid on September 14.
