Former Lokomotiv goalkeeper Nigmatullin says he would like to see a Russian-speaking coach at the Moscow club

German departure Marvin Comper of Lokomotiv will not change the work of the technical staff of the club for the better, since the team now has weak coaches, the former goalkeeper of the “red-greens” expressed his opinion Ruslan Nigmatullin and also noted that he would like to see a Russian-speaking coach lead the team.

On September 5, Lokomotiv announced that Compper was leaving the coaching staff of the railway workers, and the questions of headquarters formation, team preparation and determining the composition for the match will remain with the German head coach Josef Zinnbauer. Previously, this was actually done by Compper, who has worked at the Moscow club since the fall of 2021.

– Well, to be honest, it’s not so important which of the current Lokomotiv coaches is responsible for training the coaching staff, determining the line-up and preparing the team. Because this kind of permutation does not change the sum. After all, the team is now led by poorly qualified coaches. Yes, there was a small push in a few laps, but Lokomotiv beat the teams that had more problems than him – Khimki and Orenburg. And with rivals more or less playing – no chance. Of course, I am for a Russian-speaking coach. In particular, it would be interesting to see (Sergey) Yuran and (Igor) Osinkin, if they are called candidates. Osinkin is doing a very good job at Wings of the Soviets. But somehow I doubt there are any reasonable decisions in the strategy, the concept we have now,” Nigmatullin told .
